On Independence Day, i:e 4th
July, when every American was celebrating the taste of freedom,
environmentalists at Norvergence were focusing on the unexpected temperature of
Alaska.
For the first time in history,
Alaska’s temperature reached 32 degree Celsius. It was found hotter than New
York City.
Norvergence quotes what NBC News
meteorologist Bill Karins has said, “Breaking
an all-time record by this much is pretty unheard of in the climate community.”
The different
weather agencies have reported that this temperature will remain as it is
through the weekdays across the southcentral and southwest Alaska.
The high
temperature is the result of climate change that is happening because of
increasing global warming.

When
Norvergence checked the history and did more research about Alaska weather, it
found that the climate is determined by the average precipitation and
temperature received. And there are signs that the temperature of Alaska
will get hotter in the upcoming years.
