Norvergence: Brazil has dispatched a military organization to secure the Amazon rainforest, in light of flooding deforestation this year with the high season for backwoods fires drawing nearer.
The military alongside natural specialists, police and other government organizations started with an activity to stop unlawful ecological devastation in a public woods in the province of Rondonia close to the Bolivian fringe, Vice-President Hamilton Mourao said.
Safeguard Minister Fernando Azevedo e Silva said specialists were building up bases of activity in three Amazon urban areas, with 3,800 soldiers assembled to start strikes against unlawful logging and different wrongdoings, with beginning operational expenses of 60 million genuine ($15.8 million).
